About the Role:
Ascend InfoTech is looking for a Data Scientist passionate about turning data into actionable
insights. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to solve complex business problems using
statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and machine learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement statistical models to drive business decision-making.
- Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with data engineers and business teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
- Develop interactive dashboards and data visualizations.
- Support AI/ML initiatives and Proof-of-Concept (PoC) solutions.
Requirements:
- Strong background in statistics, mathematics, or computer science.
- Proficient in Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow).
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Exposure to NLP, time series analysis, or computer vision.
