Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled SAP ABAP Engineer to design, develop, and support SAP applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ABAP programming and a good understanding of SAP modules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP programming
- Work on Reports (ALV, Interactive), Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF objects)
- Design and develop SmartForms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms
- Handle data migration and interface development using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and APIs
- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements
- Perform debugging, performance tuning, and optimization of ABAP programs
- Work on enhancements such as User Exits, BADIs, and Enhancement Framework
- Support SAP system integration and testing activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Maintain technical documentation for developments
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development
- Good knowledge of SAP modules (FI, MM, SD, HR, etc.)
- Experience in RICEF development
- Expertise in debugging and performance tuning
- Knowledge of IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services
- Familiarity with SAP HANA and CDS Views is a plus
- Understanding of OData and Fiori concepts is an added advantage
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- SAP certification (preferred but not mandatory)
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Preferred Certifications (not mandatory):
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Exposure to S/4HANA systems
